Everyone has had a busy summer and now almost time to go back to school. I am selling handbags in a couple new places. Off the Beatin' Path at the Heritage Center, next to the USO has a dozen of my handbags for sale now, along with a checkbook cover and a few keychains. I plan on making some wallets to take out soon. Also, want to make the ACU Christmas stockings (which I can personalize with names or phrases), too.
I have put a few (not ACU though) in a shop in Sackets Harbor. It's called "Calla Lilies" and is located on the main drag, on the right when you drive towards Navy Point Marina...about the second block from the main intersection. Lots of Fall colors in the purses there. No ACU right now, but I may see about putting a few there. Of course, I have to find the time to make them up!
Will take some new ACU purses to Bradley's Military the last week of August.  Had a lot there all summer and I plan on marking down the price on the ones that have been there all summer. Could be some good bargains there by Sept 1.
Had a bad experience with a local person who took some of my bags in April to sell on consigment ....I guess she didn't realize that I expected to be paid for them..!! (???)  I will have to be more careful about who I do consignment with....I certainly will have to stop being so trusting of other people. 
Had a couple girls lately email me with descriptions of the way they would like their purses made....I haven't been able to reach either by phone or email to ask a few questions before I make them up.......just give me a call or an email when you are ready to proceed. I'm easy to work with! marjorie
